JoinaParty.ca is a platform designed to help registered, deregistered, and aspiring federal political parties and candidates in Canada gather and retain the required number of membership declarations.

We believe in a stronger democracy — one where citizens are free to join multiple political parties, and where parties welcome open membership. Joining a political party is not the same as voting. Elections Canada allows eligible citizens to join multiple federal political parties, but each person may cast only one vote during an election.

Eligibility for Political Parties and Candidates to be Listed on JoinaParty.ca

Any political party may be listed on this site if it meets all of the following conditions:

• Membership is free
• The party allows its members to also join other political parties
• The party can show proof that at least one of its members has joined another political party
• The party links to JoinaParty.ca from its membership and sponsor pages

JoinaParty.ca is built to empower democratic choice by encouraging collaboration and growth across all political groups.

Interested political parties and candidates may contact us to request a listing or update their information.

All listings are evaluated independently based on public membership information and party policy statements.

Use the form from the party or parties you are joining, or use this blank form and add the party name or any other information. Print, sign, and email, fax, or mail it to the party leader. Send this form or the form from the party you are joining. Join as many parties as you want. This form includes all instructions.
